Our 9072-10B Low Conductivity pH Electrode has been designed specifically for applications in solutions with a low conductivity. Where other electrodes would be susceptible to electrode leaching and a poor response time the 9072-10B offers resistance to electrode leaching and gives a fast response time.
The 9072-10B is a glass bodied, sealed, combination, double junction pH electrode with an over size glass bulb made from a special low impedance glass specifically designed for use in low conductivity solutions. Due to the double junction in the 9072-10B low conductivity pH electrode it can also be used in applications where the solutions react with silver.
The 9072-10B Low conductivity pH electrode is suitable for use in laboratory and in industrial applications. When pairing the 9072-10B with an inline electrode holder we strongly recommend exercising caution during the installation. The large over sized glass dome increases the surface area for readings in low conductivity solution, it is also delicate and pressure on the glass dome can cause it to break.
The Low Conductivity pH Electrode model 9072-10B has a double junction to prevent low conductivity solutions from leaching the electrode reference solution. The reference junction is annular peripheric ceramic and non-fouling. The reason that this electrode performs so well in low conductivity applications is because the glass bulb is made from our special low impedance glass and the large over size domed shape increases the surface area, in turn increasing the precision and the response time, this is specifically designed for use when the conductivity of the solution is low.
The 9072-10B is designed to perform in situations where other pH electrodes aren't able too.
The 9072-10B offers unparalleled repeatability, a non-fouling peripheric annular double junction which is resistant to electrode leaching in low conductivity environments and electrode poisoning for solutions which react to silver. In addition the large over size domed glass is made from a special low impedance glass to give accurate and rapid readings even in low conductivity solutions.
This is pH electrode has been uncompromisingly designed for use in low conductivity environments and as such it is only suitable for a pH range of 0 - 11 pH and at temperatures of 0 - 50°C.
The 9072-10B pH electrode is widely used with our pH controller range, our inline electrode holders and our portable pH meters.
The mounting cap on the Low Conductivity pH Electrode model 9072-10B is Ryton with a small flange for mounting the pH electrode into our PES style holders.
The 9072-10B pH electrode is available with a number of connection types; as standard we supply the 9072-10B with 3 metres of connecting cable and a BNC fitting.

The 9060-10B Rugged pH Electrode is designed for use in tough conditions where a standard glass pH electrode may break. The pH bulb and magna-flow reference junction make this an ideal robust pH electrode where breakage can be a problem.
The 9060-10B Rugged pH Electrode combines a rugged pH Bulb with the tuff-tip sensor shape to give a robust pH electrode. The 9060-10B is an epoxy bodied, sealed combination pH electrode with rugged pH bulb and magna-flow reference junction. The magna-flow reference junction is non-fouling and the recessed rugged pH bulb is designed not to break in tough conditions.
The 9060-10B gives a quick response time, precision measurement and offers excellent repeatability.
The 9060-10B is designed to be a robust pH Electrode where electrode breakage is a problem.
The 9060-10B rugged pH electrode with sealed combination non-fouling magna-flow reference junction is suitable for tough laboratory or industrial applications. We are now able to supply our P8000-10B series high performance combination pH electrodes with a porous teflon liquid junction, and our R8000-10B series of high performance combination redox electrodes with a porous liquid junction.
The new range of P8000 pH Electrodes and R8000 Redox Electrodes are ideal for solutions which are incompatible with ceramic. Some chemical blends involving strong acids or strong alkali solutions can slowly dissolve the ceramic junction. Other substances can block the ceramic junction such as biological effluents which contain fats, oils or greases.
The P8000-10B porous teflon liquid junction pH electrodes and R8000-10B high performance liquid teflon junction redox electrodes aim to eliminate these concerns.
