The Lock-N-Load (L-N-L) retractable pH electrode system is designed for inserting into the side of a tank at an angle of at least 10o up from horizontal or into a large diameter pipeline. The Lock-N-Load (L-N-L) retractable pH electrode maybe withdrawn from the vessel or pipe without draining down as the Lock-N-Load (L-N-L) retractable pH electrode seals its self when withdrawn so the electrode can be removed for maintance and calibration.

The Lock-N-Load (L-N-L) retractable pH electrode system is the first Inline electrode system that does not require ball valves, cables or costly complex hardware to quickly insert or remove an electrode from a pipeline, vessel or tank without interrupting the process.

The simplicity of the design of the Lock-N-Load (L-N-L) retractable pH electrode system is what makes it unique. A quarter of a turn pull out the Lock-N-Load (L-N-L) retractable pH electrode system, and the electrode assembly is sealed from the line pressure. It can now be removed for maintenance, cleaning, calibration or replacement. It is safer too because the end cap seals from the inside out, unlike other types of insertion assemblies which rely upon valves and retaining cables.
The electrodes feature sealed gel filled references with annular non fouling junctions.

Two styles of automatic temperature compensation are available either built into a threaded boss for use in a flow cell or insertion type for use with large bore pipes and tanks.

The PES1 electrode system is designed to hold a 9000 series electrode for pH measurement in a small diameter pipe usually installed on a bypass.
The PES1 is a simple PVC pH electrode holder designed to screw into a 1/2’’ B.S.P. female socket if fitted to a tee we recommend using a 3/4’’ plain tee fitted with a 1/2’’ B.S.P. bush.

The PES1-QR features a 3/4’’ plain tee for solvent cementing in line in PVC pipework. PES1QR electrode replacement or calibration requires no tools and can be accomplished just in a few minutes.

The PES2-QR is a larger electrode system for use in a 2” or greater PVC tee again fitted with a quick release union for easy removal of the
electrode.

The PES2-QR maybe be supplied with either the PS183-20B electrode with a full bulb or the PTT183-20B low profile tuff tip electrode which is often refer to as self cleaning due to flow helping to removing any build up on the electrode face.

The PES3 is manufactured from 316 stainless steel for greater mechanical strength and high temperature use in the Dairy and Brewing industries and is recommended for use with the 9044-10B electrodes.

The The PS90S sealed pH electrode system is a simple design intended for the measurement of pH by submersing into in open unpressurised vessels, tanks, sumps or pits.

The PS90S electrodes are designed for ease of maintenance and electrode replacement without the use of tools. PS90S electrode systems standard lengths are 1000 mm and 2000 mm, an adjustable flange allows variations in electrode immersion. As the PS90S is our design and manufactured at our Stafford facility in the UK we are able to manufacture the electrode in length you require for example we have made PS90S electrode systems 4 metres long to measure the pH of waste heater in the bottom of 4.5 meter deep drains and chambers.

The PS90S features a sealed gel-filled electrode requires no pressurisation or electrolyte replacement. The double annular reference junction is of a special design allowing operation in industrial processes that would normally foul a standard combination electrode reference.

Electrode types available are P36-10B Double junction pH electrode and R36-10B Double junction Redox electrode that features a large platinum band as the sensor.

The electrode assemble reduces maintenance cost due to the ease of electrode handling and replacement. The PS90S electrodes are compatible with most leading makes of pH meters and are supplied with 6 metre connecting cable fitted with a BNC connector. The electrode is fitted with a 1” table “D” mounting flanges at standard.

AWE Direct News:- New Teflon Junction pH Electrodes and Redox Electrodes

We are now able to supply our P8000-10B series high performance combination pH electrodes with a porous teflon liquid junction, and our R8000-10B series of high performance combination redox electrodes with a porous liquid junction.

The new range of P8000 pH Electrodes and R8000 Redox Electrodes are ideal for solutions which are incompatible with ceramic. Some chemical blends involving strong acids or strong alkali solutions can slowly dissolve the ceramic junction. Other substances can block the ceramic junction such as biological effluents which contain fats, oils or greases. 

The P8000-10B porous teflon liquid junction pH electrodes and R8000-10B high performance liquid teflon junction redox electrodes aim to eliminate these concerns.
