The PES1-QR is an inline pH electrode holder designed to hold any of our range of pH electrodes fitted with the Ryton flared cap.
The PES-1-QR inline pH electrode holder is designed as a flow line system in 3/4" Tee piece. The standard PES-1-QR is manufactured in PVC and supplied with our 9069-10B glass bodied pH electrode. The unit becomes a permanent piece of the pipework ensuring that the pH can be measured constantly.
The PES-1-QR inline pH electrode holder features our specially manufactured quick release fitting. This means that any of our flanged pH electrodes can be held in place using the quick release fitting. The quick release fitting incorporates an electrode guard to protect against solids or abrasives from damaging the glass bulb of the pH electrode as well as allowing an easy removal of the pH probe for buffering and calibration procedures.
The 3/4" Tee piece is designed to be held in with a solvent weld but other fitting types are available. Where ever possible we recommend that electrodes are installed in a sample line piped to drain or a low pressure point in the system. If the solution to be measured has a high temperature the installation of a sample cooler will lengthen the electrode life.
The PES-1-QR is manufactured in PVC as standard, for 3/4" solvent weld installation or 1/2" BSP and supplied complete with the 9069-10B glass bodied pH probe.

In addition to our models within a 3/4" tee piece we also offer models within a 3/4" cross piece. This includes platinum resistive temperature device or thermocouple which can be used for either temperature measurement or for temperature compensation. These models are designated as PES-1-QR-TC1 for PVC, PES-1-K for Kynar (PVDF) and PES-3-QR-TC1 for 316 stainless steel.

The PES-2-QR is an inline pH elecrode system designed for use with larger diameter pipes.
The PES-2-QR inline pH electrode system is similar to our PES-1-QR inline pH electrode holder - but the PES-2-QR is designed to work with larger diameter pipes. The PES-2-QR has a diameter for use with a 2" solvent weld and comprises of our industrial pH probe PS183-20B as well as our specially designed Quick Release fitting.
The PES-2-QR is designed to form part of the pipework allowing continual online pH monitoring of a process and the quick release acting as an easy way of removing the pH probe for calibration or buffering.
The PES-2-QR large diameter inline pH electrode system features our specially manufactured quick release fitting. This means that our standard PS183-20B industrial pH probe can be held in place using the quick release fitting. The probe itself comprises of an electrode guard to protect against large diameter solids or abrasives from causing mechanical damage to the pH probe bulb. When required the quick release mechanism ensures the speedy removal of the pH probe for buffering or calibration.
The large 2" diameter tee-piece is designed to be solvent welded into existing pipework to become a permanent and integral part of the pipework.

The APS2 pH & millivolt simulator is a light and portable precision instrument designed to provide a precise electrical signal. The APS2 pH & millivolt simulator is used for calibrating and checking the calibration of most popular pH instruments, which use a conventional combination electrode.
The APS2 pH & millivolt simulator produces the correct electrical signal to correspond to pH values of 0pH, 2pH 4pH, 5pH, 6pH, 7pH, 8ph, 9pH, 10pH, 12pH and 14pH at a solution temperature of 20oC.The APS2 pH & millivolt simulator may also be use to check the input impendence to the pH instrument under test and if the instrument is functioning satisfactory the condition of the cable and connectors may also be verified by the APS2 pH & millivolt simulator.
The Lock-N-Load is a retractable inline pH electrode system for use in pressurised pipes.
The Lock-N-Load inline pH electrode system is designed to hold a pH electrode in a pressurised pipe for constant online pH measurement. The unique design of the retractable Lock-N-Load system allows the pH electrode to be removed from the pipework without the need to stop the flow in the pipe. The Lock-N-Load literally locks into place sealing the pipe and allowing easy removal of the pH probe for buffering or calibration. When calibrated the probe is simply inserted back into the Lock-N-Load and lowered into the pipework, then locked into place for continuous online pH monitoring.
The retractable inline pH electrode system becomes is designed to become part of the pipework as a permanent installation. It has an insertion length of 63mm and the 9392 pH electrode which is available with either glass body or Stainles Steel sheeth - is lowered into place to give continuous pH monitoring. When the time comes to replace the pH electrode a simple twist of the lock-n-load will release the locking mechanism. The pH electrode is then lifted out of the pipework and the lock-n-load is locked back into place. The electrode can no be safely removed for calibration or replacement. The solution in the pipework doesn't need to be stopped or drained and the electrode can be removed "on the fly" without the need to interupt the process.
The Lock-N-Load is designed to be as safe as possible - the end cap seals from the inside out - so there is no need to rely on valves or retaining cables like older solutions popular in mid 1980's.
The retractable pH electrode system the Lock-N-Load is available in PVC, Kynar (PVDF) or 316 Stainless Steel which allows the Lock-N-Load assembly to be used in a wide range of applications in Water, Effluent Treatment and Process Control.

The APS2 pH & mV simulator maybe used for calibrating or checking the calibration of any conventinal pH meter transmitter or controller IE any instrument which uses a conventinal pH combination electrode producing a millivolt output.The APS2 pH & mV simulator is not intended to replace buffering the pH electrode in 4pH, 7pH and or 9/10pH buffers.
Within our pH Transmitter range we offer the P3630 pH Transmitter. This instrument is one of our top selling instruments and offers an excellent way of transmitting a pH signal to a PLC or other device.
The unit is normally located within close proximity to a pH electrode giving the operator a visual indication of the current pH output. The pH Transmitter then transmits the pH value using a 4-20mA (or 0 - 20mA) current signal to a PLC or Chart Recorder which can be located up to 1000 metres away. The same 2 wires which transmit the pH signal as a 4-20mA current signal are also used to power the pH transmitter. This "loop powered" system ensures an efficient transfer of the signal and means that the pH transmitter can be housed in either a small din rail mounting enclosure or as a surface mounted pH transmitter system.
