The PC18-K Portable Redox / pH / µS / oC combination meter kit comprises of a calculator sized portable pH / µS / oC redox meter with digital display which displays one of the following either pH range 0 - 14.00 pH, Conductivity ranges selectable for 0 – 199.9 µS, 0 – 1999 µS or 0 – 19.99 mS temperature range -50 to 150oC.The PC18-K Portable Redox / pH / µS / oC combination meter kit is supplied with a 9015-3B plastic bodied combination pH electrode with a 3’ connecting cable and a BNC connector. For temperature readout and auto temperature compensation on the pH range the PC18-K Portable Redox / pH / µS / oC combination meter kit is supplied complete with part number A8000 stainless steel temperature sensor. For conductivity measurements with the PC18-K Portable Redox / pH / µS / oC combination meter kit is supplied with part number A1003 which is a special compact black epoxy conductivity cell with graphite electrodes and its own auto temperature sensor which provides ATC back to a base of 25oC at 2% / oC. The Redox Transmitter is instruments for mounting close say within 3 metres (10’) of the Redox electrode system. The best Redox transmitters have a display and calibration controls for zero and span so the system maybe calibrated or buffered local to the electrode.Effluent Ltd. The current output is an industry standard 4 – 20 mA output with the same two wire which power the 24 VDC transmitter carrying the current output.
Redox Controllers are Redox instruments which has the ability to operate a remote device the output can either by a relay which switches at a preset Redox value or an analog control signal. The analog control signal must not be confused with a recorder output, which is a linear output corresponding to the measuring range of the instrument and should not be used for control.

The APS2 Redox & mV simulator is a source of precise mV signals for calibrating Redox and mV meters. It is substituted for the service electrode and maybe also be used to check the serviceability of extension cables and of wiring within the meters themselves.
Redox Buffers calibrating a Redox electrode and instrument is often referred to as buffering the system. The electrode is removed cleaned and immersed in a solution of a know Redox value and the instrument is set to read this value. This is usually carried out for 2 values so the zero and span can be accurately set. Within our pH Transmitter range we offer the P3630 pH Transmitter. This instrument is one of our top selling instruments and offers an excellent way of transmitting a pH signal to a PLC or other device.
The unit is normally located within close proximity to a pH electrode giving the operator a visual indication of the current pH output. The pH Transmitter then transmits the pH value using a 4-20mA (or 0 - 20mA) current signal to a PLC or Chart Recorder which can be located up to 1000 metres away. The same 2 wires which transmit the pH signal as a 4-20mA current signal are also used to power the pH transmitter. This "loop powered" system ensures an efficient transfer of the signal and means that the pH transmitter can be housed in either a small din rail mounting enclosure or as a surface mounted pH transmitter system.
